Each year the Arts Center produces five plays or musicals, from concept to curtain call, featuring exceptional direction, superb production design, and talented performers.

Coastal Discover Museum (Hilton Head Island Activity)
Visit the Coastal Discovery Museum for a fun-filled learning experience. Your family can discover and investigate the miracles of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Take a leisurely stroll around the museum’s sumptuous 68-acre property. Study the salt marsh on our boardwalks. Marvel at the beauty of the Spanish Moss dangling from Live Oaks. The Gullah Museum of Hilton Head Island
The Gullah Museum of Hilton Head Island was established by Native Islander Louise Miller Cohen in 2003.​ The organization participates in various events in the Lowcountry, provides lectures, and displays artifacts. Since 2003, the Gullah Museum of Hilton Head has committed to maintaining Gullah customs, traditions, language, stories, songs, and structures on Hilton Head.

The Harbour Town Lighthouse Museum (Hilton Head Activity)
Just over five decades old, the red-and-white-striped Harbour Town Lighthouse serves not only as a beacon to the many ships that reside in our Yacht Basin but also as a landmark that has come to symbolize Hilton Head Island to people all over the world. With the addition of the Lighthouse Legends Tour in 2001, this icon transformed into an enlightening, educational, and fun experience for all.

Parris Island Museum (Beaufort Activity)
Explore the long and rich legacy of the United States Marine Corps and the exciting history of Port Royal. The Parris Island Museum features thousands of artifacts, images, and other materials that illustrate the history of Port Royal and Parris Island, from early Native American inhabitants of Port Royal to the modern Marines. The 10,000 square foot museum is located on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina.

Pat Conroy Literary Center (Beaufort Activity)
The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center is South Carolina’s first affiliate of the American Writers Museum, second American Library Association Literary Landmark, and a top-ranked attraction in Beaufort, South Carolina. Through its interpretive center, year-round educational programs, and annual literary festival, the Conroy Center preserves and continues the literary legacy of Pat Conroy (1945–2016). The Conroy Center is open to the public Thursdays through Sundays, noon to 4:00 p.m., at 905 Port Republic Street in historic downtown Beaufort.

Penn Center (Beaufort Activity)
Penn Center serves as a local, national, and international resource center and catalyst for developing programs for community self-sufficiency, civil and human rights, and positive change. This organization encourages critical thinking, creative skills, and social consciousness by preserving and documenting history, collecting and exhibiting, presenting, and exploring ideas.


Bike Rentals (Hilton Head Island Activity)
One favorite activity tourists enjoy while visiting Hilton Head Island is bicycle riding. You can ride miles of bike paths all over the Hilton Head plus the twelve miles of beaches. If you intend to rent a bike for your vacation, make sure to ask about locks, baskets, child carriers.
